BERAT, ALBANIA, 19-20 November 2014 –NEXUS, Fafo (Norway) and Different & Equal (Albania) hosted a Regional Seminar on the Positive Deviance Methodology to Prevent Trafficking in Albania.

The objective of the seminar was to present the implementation of the pilot project on trafficking prevention, which used, very uniquely, a positive deviance (PD) approach. The seminar introduced participants to the PD methodology and previous uses of PD in trafficking prevention and presented information on how the project was implemented in Albania. The seminar also shared and assessed the use of a PD methodology from the experiences of different actors involved – including community members, community leaders, positive deviants and the implementing agencies.
