NEXUS Institute joined Vital Voices Global Partnership along with corporate, foundation, nongovernmental and academic partners in a major Clinton Global Initiative Commitment in 2010 totaling $4 million. This commitment aimed to further women’s economic empowerment globally and transform the promise of the UN Fourth World Conference on Women into meaningful action. Led by Vital Voices, this commitment includes partners Humanity United, Mosaic Foundation, ExxonMobil Foundation, the Avon Foundation, Ambassador Elizabeth Frawley Bagley and Donna McLarty. Other implementing partners include New York University, George Washington University and the Man Up Campaign.
